Coca-Cola Collectibles: The Perfect Christmas Gifts

by Daniel Wright

Many of us fail to come up with ideas when buying gifts for certain "hard-to-buy-for" friends and relatives. In such cases, it is a good idea to buy them something to enhance their existing collection of memorabilia or even gift them something that would get them started on such a collection. The familiar red logo of Coke and the collectibles associated with it appeal to most people. What's more, these Coke collectibles come in every price range and have a wide range to choose from.

The company encourages collecting and makes a large number of seasonal and even special items all year long, from coasters to clothing. These can cost only a few dollars or be expensive enough for a major gift. Some things like commemorative bottles or cans have gone up astronomically in valuation just a few years after being issued, so keep that Christmas-themed can!

When you are shopping for an antique or collectible lover, consider some Coke collectibles for a special gift. These collectibles come in all different price ranges and sizes. You could consider old bottles, signs, or even a complete vending machine. A vending machine that still works is especially nice. Look for the correct size of bottles for the machine.

Smaller items can be very affordable, even stocking stuffer prices for buttons, coasters, cards, and posters. Other Coca-Cola collectibles are intended especially for children, with a charming polar bear being a favorite. There are even toy vending machines that dispense make believe cans of soda. Caps, mittens, socks and scarves are also modestly priced and a hit with many children.

Those who are art lovers might really enjoy some of the old signs, serving trays, and posters that are truly works of art. The company has a long history of commissioning famous artists to do holiday theme art for signs and posters and other logo merchandise, and these are highly prized. One of the real finds is an old wood or metal sign that is still in near perfect condition.

You can also add Coca-Cola collectibles to other kinds of collections, such as a logo mug with a special theme to someone who collects mugs. Whatever your intended gift recipient collects, it is likely that Coke makes something from that group, or has at some time in the past. This company is seen as being as American as apple pie, but it also has an international appeal, and its merchandise makes great gifts for people all over the world.

Soda-Pop-Collectibles.com features thousands of soda pop and Coca-Cola collectibles. New Coke memorabilia items added daily!
